| imagine and it turns out to be a can of worms in the realm of alignments, lol. I'll remember that one for Final Jeopardy, lol. I can certainly agree with what guapo's point is but it does not take into account that only guys like you and guapo would know when you are being bullshitted or be able to recognize a halfassed job when you see one. The vast majority of us do not know how to perform alignments, use the equipment, much less have the time or desire to learn everything there is to know about the subject just to prevent being ripped off. I mean honestly, I am all about self sufficiency but where does someone draw the line?? Are you going to enroll in dental school just to be sure your dentist knows how to fill your cavity? Engineering school before you trust someone with building your house? Learn to weave before you buy clothes? There are somethings you should be able to look at the person's cert and say "ok they can handle this" and not have to worry about it. Alignments is not something that falls under such a stringent standard. If you dont know 1sthand, then you have no clue if you are getting screwed til its way too late. If it were so simple to just ask an alignment shop if they do quality work, no Z owners would have issues with their inner treads getting chewed up.
